Hilton Hotel

Hilton Hotel (14)

The Hilton Hotel was built by Béla Pinter in the year 1976 and is situated in one of the most selected areas of ´Castle Hill`. The building’s location used to be that of an old, baroque style Jesuit college and a medieval church belonging to the Dominican Order. In fact, you will see that the remains of the old church still surround the hotel today and can be visited. In addition, the still standing Dominican temple’s tower is used nowadays as a casino for the hotel’s guests.

It is worth knowing that you can visit the facilities here without actually being a guest of the hotel. Therefore, feel free to enter and observe the sumptuousness of its interior which carefully conveys the atmosphere of the old city. Its beauty is such that the president of the Hilton company defined the place as ´the jewel in the crown`. In contrast though to the luxury of the hotel’s communal areas, the decoration of its three hundred and twenty-two rooms is dark and gloomy. However, the superb views of Pest which the hotel offers make up for everything.
