Channel Gardens

Channel Gardens (92)

These fantastic and popular gardens separate the British Empire Building north of the Maison Française to the south, as does the English Channel. Hence, its ironic nomenclature.

As you can see, the Channel Gardens, or Jardins du Canal are a series of six ponds with delicate sculptures in bronze tritons and nymphs riding dolphins and a variety of plants and flowers very well maintained to help us escape the fast and hypnotic pace of Fifth Avenue and direct us inevitably toward the golden Prometheus, always bright, located in the Lower Plaza.

Flanking the ponds is a selection of the best boutiques and top brands that will help make your trip even more exciting. Jewellery, accessories and bath salts. You will find everything here. Of course, if you like to go shopping Sex and the City style Rockefeller Center is the place for you. And by the way, to complete its range of shops and restaurants reminds visit the Concourse shopping mall in the basement of the GE Building.

Returning to the Channel Gardens, do not miss the Metropolitan Museum of Art shop, located here. You will surely find some great for your friends, family and, of course, for you too.
