Fontaine des Innocents (27B)

The fountain of the innocents was designed by the sculptor and architect Jean Goujon and is the only Renaissance fountain conserved in Paris today.

Built in 1549 in Rue St Denis it was moved to its current placement in the 18th century. The square is built over the site o fan old cemetery. It is currently a very popular meeting point for young people.
